On Carnival Friday 2007 TJJ was as busy as this year’s Soca artists... hopping from fete to fete. One gotta be fit and strong to participate in the Fetealotathon®. We tried covering as many events that night as possible and trust us when we say "that night had fete!!!" Some of us chose to support Black Velvet Concepts with their first Carnival fete "Imagine" which was held in St. Anns (Boy Scouts we think).

On arrival we were greeted and handed a bandana... essential fete gear! Okay, time to mingle with the crowd. This was a Drinks Inclusive but not a premium drinks inclusive fete (no biggie at all), and although you had to pay for the burgers it tasted nice.

Axe had sexy models dress like security guards and armed with an Axe deodorant spray and security baton. These sexy ladies walked through the crowed targeting men to arrest them and escort them to a decorated tent. In there, they were massaged by other sexy ladies, hmmm. There was also a Haagen-Dazs tent that held most of our attention and when you lined up for ice-cream you got more than a scoop; YUMMMMY!

Mark Lynch was the host of the night and performers were Mr. Slaughter and Maximus Dan. The DJs definitely played the latest and kept us dancing in between and until the last hours of the night.

Now, TJJ must acknowledge and give credit because it was a good party seeing that there were approximately over six fetes on the same night. Having all that competition Black Velvet Concepts still managed to pack the venue with partygoers. Interviews with members of the crowd showed that this year some people wanted to do something different instead of the traditional events like International Soca Monarch, Girl Power, VIP Friday, Blue Range etc. etc. (all events covered by Team TJJ), and they appreciated the location chosen because it was away from the strenuous traffic heading to the usual fete locations.

TJJ enjoyed ourselves, but more importantly, the crowd did as well.... and they didn't seem to regret spending their Carnival Friday at Imagine. AGAIN Black Velvet Concepts didn't let us down, we usually enjoy what you all bring our way! ;-)
